Question on LGBTQIA

Question: I have a question on LGBT. LGBT is becoming normal in our society nowadays and worse of it all, some churches are adopting it as a norm in their assemblies. When asked a Christian about this and his reason for being a transgender, he quoted this scriptures;

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Galatians 3:28

I want to ask, what is Christ's stand about the LGBT community according to the scriptures sir?

Answer

The passage quoted by the "Christian" to supposedly support their argument in favour of the LGBT is from Galatians 3:28, I will like to quote from 3 verses before "(25) But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. (26) For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. (27) For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. (28) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." So first, this passage has nothing to do sexuality or gender, it is about the work of faith in Christ which brings the believer into the family of God by removing social bais (bond or free), and gender bais (male or female). The passage stresses the fact that as we come to Christ, we do not say "Because I am rich and that other believer is poor, I can't relate with them" or "Because I am a male and that other believer is a female, I can't relate with her." We must not use the Scriptures to support our suppositions, if we do, we remove the guidance of the Spirit of God.

Now to the question of Christ's stand about the LGBT Community. Since the "Christian" quoted from a letter of the Apostle Paul, I will also quote from another letter of Paul, Romans 1:27-28 " (27) And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. (28) And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient." The idea of Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersexual, and Allied (LGBTQIA) affects God's natural order. What we know from Genesis is that "... A man (male gender) will leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife (female gender)..." in the act of marriage. The Lesbian says "I (a female) will cleave (in sexual relationship) to another female", the Gay says "I (a male) will cleave (in sexual relationship) to another male", the Bi-sexual says "I am sexually attracted to both males and females. The Transgender says "At a certain age, my gender reversed from male to female or female to male, so although I look like a male, I act like a female, or although I look like a female, I act like a male." The Queer is another name for the Gay. Intersexed is having sexual characteristics of both male and female, a term common to animals that are termed hermaphrodite. Allied is the used to relate to the combined community of the LGBTQI. As stated in Romans 1:27, it is all a product of people "burned up in their lust".

Because the world covertly acknowledges the power of the Bible as the inspired word of God, they seek to use it to validate their wrong doings, so that they can say "God approves it". But it is not so; you cannot isolate a single verse of the Bible and build a theory around it, you should find its connection to other verses, the Scriptures does not contradict itself, it rather agrees with itself. The Bible condemns any act that tampers with God's natural order of sexuality, as expressed in Romans chapter 1. Galatians 3:28 talks about the effect of faith in God through Christ, if anyone wants to know the stand of the Bible about LGBTQIA, including bestiality, let them read Romans 1:21-32. Those who engage in this act need to repent and seek the help of God's grace through Jesus to ensue their total freedom; it is all the effort of Satan to corrupt man with unnatural ideas, thereby drive them to hell.
