The authority and finality of Scriptures have been largely affected by several additions from interpretations and biases coming from different angles. Among these voices, God recognizes only his word and this is what we should also focus on. Men can have their laws, but these laws are never to be equated to or placed above God’s law.
As men add to God’s law at different times and today as well, we complicate what God has made simple and make following God cumbersome. When we refuse to stay where God stays, we will need several laws to keep ourselves in shape.
