Every customer who wishes to use our service is advised to read these terms and conditions and will be required to accept them before proceeding.

MEANING OF WORDS

Except otherwise stated in the terms and conditions, the following words mean what is explained

1. Author: A person who has written a book and wishes to submit their draft to Prestige Editors. We encourage originality and will not accept stealing someone else’s work if discovered.

2. Customer: Means the author.

3. Company: Means Prestige Editors

4. Working Days: Means Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 pm, excluding Saturday and Sunday.

5. Sales Share: Means the percentage of the sales revenue that goes to the Prestige Editors and the author.

The terms of using this service are as follows;

REGARDING CUSTOMERS THAT NEED OUR EDITING, BOOK COVER, SALES BANNER, MOCK-UP, AND AMAZON PUBLISHING FORMAT (.KPF) SERVICES

FOR THE COMPANY

1. The Company agrees to complete the initial book formatting (editing, cover design, Amazon publishing format), and marketing props (book mock-up, sales banners) within a maximum of 14 working days and to inform the customer if an extension will be needed. The customer agrees to comply with any such extension as duly communicated using any communication means that the Company will determine.

2. The Company agrees not to give copies of the customer’s book(s) to the public for free.

3. The Company agrees not to sell the customer’s book(s) on any other platform except it bears the name of Prestige Reader. The Company, therefore, denies responsibility for the customer’s book(s) on any other platform that is not Prestige Reader Platform.

4. The Company will use only accredited automated payment services for the Sales Share where the customer will be required to set up their account. The Company will not be responsible for network failures or other technical faults that may arise from the accredited automated payment services and cause delays in the payment to the customer.

5. While the customer authorizes the Company to sell their book(s) on the Prestige Reader Platforms, the customer can also sell their book on any other platform apart from Prestige Reader (for example Amazon), as they may choose. Sales share on the book(s) sold by the customer on other platforms apart from the Prestige Reader Platform goes to the customer 100%.

6. After the completed job is sent to the customer in a zip file, the Company will only allow 1 revision per book.

FOR THE CUSTOMER

1. The customer agrees to authorize the Company to publish their book(s) for sale on the Company’s book sales platform; Prestige Reader Platform.

2. The customer agrees that the sales share shall be at 60-40; 60% of the book sales price goes to the customer while 40% of the book sales price goes to the Company.

3. The customer agrees that only sales made through the customer’s unique sales link will get the sales share. Sales made through the Company’s main sales link to go to the Company 100%.

4. The customer agrees that the Company is not responsible to drive sales to their book(s) on Amazon or Prestige Reader Platforms.

5. If a failure to perform duties on the part of the Company arises as a result of Force Majeure or any other circumstance that could not be foreseen or avoided, such failure shall not constitute a claim of damages for the customer.

6. The customer agrees that the Company is not responsible for whatever happens to their book(s) outside the Prestige Reader Platforms.

7. The customer agrees that the initial payment paid to the Company is non-refundable.

8. The customer agrees that the Company can change any part of these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice to the customer.

9. The customer agrees that the Company can change the percentage of Sales Share at any time without prior notice to the customer.

10. The customer agrees to be committed to promoting the Prestige Reader Platforms through their unique store link.

11. The customer agrees to pay for the services of Prestige Editors, at whatever price the Company shall determine if the customer wishes to remove their ebook from Prestige Reader platforms after the Company must have delivered the services required as agreed by the customers.

REGARDING CUSTOMERS WITH READY BOOKS

 

FOR THE COMPANY

1. The Company agrees not to give copies of the customer’s book(s) to the public for free.

2. The Company agrees not to sell the customer’s book(s) on any other platform except if it bears the name of Prestige Reader. The Company, therefore, denies responsibility for the customer’s book(s) on any other platform that is not Prestige Reader Platform.

3. The Company will not be responsible for network failures or other technical faults that may arise from the customer's bank which may cause delay or payment failure.

4. While the customer authorizes the Company to sell their book(s) on the Prestige Reader Platforms, the customer can also sell their book on any other platform apart from Prestige Reader (for example Amazon), as they may choose. Sales share on the book(s) sold by the customer on other platforms apart from the Prestige Reader Platform goes to the customer 100%.

5. On sales made through the Company's main link, the Sales Share for authors with Ready Books shall be 60-40; where 60% goes to the Company and 40% goes to the author. The company takes a higher percentage to cover for marketing of the sales platform. This is referred to as Direct Revenue.

6. The Company shall do its due diligence to send revenue for each author on 25TH of every month, where 25TH of the month falls on a business day and where 25TH of the month does not fall on a business day, the revenue shall be disbursed on the next business day.

7. If a failure to perform duties on the part of the Company arises as a result of Force Majeure or any other circumstance that could not be foreseen or avoided, such failure shall not constitute a claim of damages for the customer.

FOR THE CUSTOMER

1. The customer agrees to authorize the Company to publish their book(s) for sale on the Company’s book sales platform; Prestige Reader Platform.

2. On sales made through the customer's unique link, the Sales Share for authors with ready books shall be 60-40; where 60% goes to the customer and 40% goes to the Company. This is referred to as Associate Revenue.

3. The customer agrees that the Company is not responsible to drive sales to their book(s) on Amazon or Prestige Reader Platforms.

4. The customer agrees that the Company is not responsible for whatever happens to their book(s) outside the Prestige Reader Platforms.

5. The customer agrees that the Company can change any part of these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice to the customer.

6. The customer agrees that the Company can change the percentage of Sales Share at any time without prior notice to the customer.

7. The customer agrees to be committed to promoting the Prestige Reader Platforms through their unique store link.

8. The customer reserves the right to remove their ebook from Prestige Reader at any time.
